What's new
Improvements and releases on bench.cx, newest first.
The Sealed Market Index is now value-weighted
The index now weights each product by its price instead of counting a $5 blister the same as an $1,800 case, so it tracks where the market's dollars actually are.
- ImprovedThe bench.cx Sealed Market Index used to be equal-weighted — every product's percent move counted the same, so the large tail of inexpensive, mostly-vintage products could push the index around out of proportion to their real market weight. It is now value-weighted: each product's daily move is weighted by its price, with a cap so no single illiquid vintage box can dominate. The whole history was recomputed on the new method.
Portfolio on mobile, plus a weekly recap in your inbox
The holdings list is now a clean set of cards on your phone — no more sideways scrolling — and the portfolio can email you a weekly recap and flag a big single-day move on something you own.
- ImprovedOn phones, your holdings are now cards you can read top to bottom — each with its trend, today's and this month's move, value, and the metric you pick — instead of a wide table you had to scroll sideways.
- NewA weekly email recap of your portfolio: value, the week's move against the sealed market, and your best and worst holdings. (Rolling out gradually — limited to a small group at first.)
- NewIf a product you hold moves sharply in a single day, the portfolio can email you — no alert to set up, because you already own it. (Also rolling out gradually.)
- New"Since your last visit" — when you come back after a day or more, the portfolio tells you how it moved while you were away.
- New"Where your value sits" shows how concentrated your collection is across sets, so you can see at a glance how much rides on any one of them.
- NewMilestone notes when they happen — a new all-time high, crossing a round number, or a winning streak — and nothing when they don't.
- FixedOn mobile the "Today" figure was slightly misaligned against the week and month figures beside it, and a near-flat market day read as a confusing "+0.0%"; both are cleaned up.
A portfolio built for checking, not just totting up
The portfolio now leads with what changed — today, this week, this month — against the sealed market, with the products that moved you and a month-by-month P&L. And the value chart is now honest about when you actually bought.
- NewThe top of the page now shows your value and how it has moved over the window you pick — a day, a week, a month, or longer — with the sealed market's move right beside it, so you can see at a glance whether you are beating the market or trailing it.
- New"What moved your portfolio" ranks your holdings by the dollars they added or cost you over the selected window, so a bad week has a name instead of just a number.
- NewA profit-and-loss bar for each of the last several months, marked where you beat the sealed market — an easy monthly check-in.
- NewThe value chart now carries a dashed "sealed market" line rebased to the start of the window you are viewing, so your line and the market's are directly comparable.
- ImprovedThe holdings table now draws each product's 30-day trend, adds today's and this month's move per product, sorts by any column, and lets you switch what the last column shows — equity, total return, percent change, price or MSRP multiple.
- FixedThe value-over-time chart used to value everything you own today as if you had always owned it, so a product bought in May showed up in the line back in December. It now values each holding at the quantity you actually held on each day, and the period returns separate the market's movement from the money you added — so a purchase is no longer mistaken for a gain.
Pages load faster, especially first thing in the morning
Product pages were taking about three seconds when they were not already cached, and every page on the site lost its cache at the same moment each night. Both are fixed.
- ImprovedA product page used to ask the database for its price history, photos, related products, release date and ratings one after another, waiting for each answer before asking the next question. It now asks for all of them at once, which cuts roughly a second off any page that is not already cached.
- ImprovedCached pages used to expire at midnight UTC — seven hours before the nightly price update actually runs — so every morning the whole site spent hours rebuilding pages whose numbers had not changed. Pages now refresh when the new prices land, and they no longer all expire in the same second, so the site does not slow to a crawl at the changeover.
- ImprovedPages also stay cached for six hours instead of one, so a page someone visited earlier in the day still loads instantly.
Case prices stay correct after a portfolio refresh
Refreshing prices from your portfolio could overwrite a case's price with a wrong one. Fixed, and the affected rows have been repaired.
- FixedA booster box or Elite Trainer Box case is priced as six or ten of the single item, not quoted on its own. Every nightly job knew that, but the "Refresh prices" button on your portfolio did not, so refreshing could replace a case's price with a single raw quote — wrong by roughly six to ten times, and only for products you actually hold. The button now leaves case prices alone and recalculates them from the singles it just refreshed.
- FixedThe affected case prices have been recalculated. The nightly job now also counts any case still showing a raw price and reports it, so this cannot go unnoticed again.
- FixedPrices were missing for August 6 and 7. Our main price source stopped answering once its credit cap was reached, and instead of moving on to the two other sources we use, the whole run gave up. Each source now falls through to the next, so one of them going quiet costs some coverage rather than a whole day.
- ImprovedThe "Refresh prices" button has been removed from your portfolio. Prices already refresh every day, so it duplicated work that happens anyway.
A tighter product page
The small duplicate chart at the top of each product page is gone, so everything below it sits higher up.
- ImprovedThe mini chart under the price drew the same line as the full price history chart further down the page, and it pushed the box opening and everything after it about 90 pixels down. It has gone; the move it reported is still there next to the price, now with the dollar amount and the window it covers.
See every price we have recorded
The chart on each product page now opens into the numbers behind it: every day we have a market price for, with the date and what it moved.
- NewEvery product page has a "View price history" link under its chart. It opens every market price we have recorded: the date, the price that day, and the change in dollars and percent, newest first. Most products carry around 210 days, and a row is added each day.
- ImprovedWhere the record has a gap, the table says so. A product only gets an entry on a day a pricing source actually returned a number, so a change is measured against the previous recorded date and any change spanning more than a day is labelled with how long it covers. A 12-day slide should not read as a one-day crash.
Japanese booster boxes get their own price list
The booster box price list is English only again, and Japanese boxes now have a page of their own.
- FixedJapanese booster boxes had started appearing in the main booster box price list, where they read as English boxes priced oddly. A Japanese box holds a different number of packs at a different retail price, so the two only compare if you already know which row is which. The list is English only again.
- NewJapanese booster box prices now live at /prices/japanese-booster-boxes, with the same year grouping, sorting and 30-day movement as the English list.
Which English set matches which Japanese one
Japanese and English sets rarely share a name, so every product page now says what its counterpart is in the other language, and a new guide lays out all 99 pairings.
- NewProduct pages now carry a line tying a set to its counterpart in the other language. A Japanese product shows the English set it became; an English product shows the Japanese set or sets it came from.
- NewA Japanese to English set guide at /japanese-english-sets lists all 99 pairings, grouped by era, with release dates and links in both directions. That covers 99 of the 101 Japanese sets we carry.
- ImprovedThe pairings say what the relationship actually is. An English set often combines two Japanese sets, so a pairing reads either "equivalent to" or "part of" rather than implying a match that is not there. Sets that were never released in English say so, and Japanese sets we cannot pair with confidence are left out instead of guessed.
The Japanese sealed catalog
230 Japanese sealed products now have pages, with official artwork, release dates and set groupings. They sit behind the catalog's language filter, which still defaults to English.
- New230 Japanese sealed products are now in the catalog, covering 101 Japanese sets from the 1996 Expansion Pack through the current Mega Evolution releases. Every one has official artwork, a release date and its set, and almost all carry a description.
- NewJapanese sets are listed under their English names (Forbidden Light, Infinity Zone, Mask of Change) and live on their own pages, so a Japanese set never gets mixed in with the English set that shares its name.
- ImprovedThe catalog's language filter still defaults to English, so nothing changes unless you ask for it. Switch it to Japanese, or English + JP, to browse the new products.
- FixedJapanese products deliberately show no market price. The catalog data we have for them carries no link to the marketplace our prices come from, and publishing a number we cannot stand behind is worse than publishing none. A price will appear when we have a Japanese source worth quoting.
Box openings that play themselves, and a price that follows you
Product pages got a mobile and desktop pass: the box-opening video now starts on its own, the price chart has range toggles, and the price plus your track button stay in reach as you scroll.
- NewOn a phone, the box-opening video now starts on its own. The box art holds for a beat, then the opening plays muted and inline, with a tap for sound and a minimize control to hand the page back its space. Reduced-motion and Data Saver users keep a single tap to play instead.
- ImprovedOn the desktop product page, the opening video now shows its thumbnail and plays in place with one tap, the same as the phone, rather than sitting as a bare embed.
- NewThe price chart now has range toggles: 1M, 3M, 6M, 1Y, and all history. A range only appears once there is older history than its window, so the buttons never point at an empty stretch.
- NewOn a phone, a slim bar keeps the current price, its 30-day move, and your Track or price-alert button within thumb reach for the whole scroll, and steps aside near the bottom of the page.
- NewOn desktop, a matching header slides in once you scroll past the top of a product page, carrying the product, its price and 30-day move, and the same action, so you never lose the price while reading further down.
- FixedOn phones, the "Recent TCGplayer sales" panel behind the price could pop open on its own and stay stuck over the page. It was built to appear on mouse hover, which a touchscreen has no clean equivalent for. It now opens only when you tap the price and closes when you tap away.
Official photography on 334 more products
Product pages now show Pokémon Center's own photo galleries, the back of the box and the contents shot included, on nearly three times as many products as before.
- New506 products now have a full photo gallery instead of a single stock image, up from 172. That is 2,800 official photos in total, credited to Pokémon Center and served from our own storage.
- FixedMost of those photos should have arrived last year. The job that collects them was stopped part way through by Pokémon Center's bot protection, and because it had already written a file of the right shape, everything downstream treated a third of a job as a finished one. Product galleries have been rebuilt from scratch and the collector now refuses to hand over a half-finished result.
- FixedGalleries with ten or more photos were showing the last shot second. They are now in the order Pokémon Center presents them.
- FixedA handful of Pokémon Center exclusives, including the 30th Celebration Elite Trainer Box and Tech Sticker Collections, had a full gallery on their own page but still showed a placeholder in the catalog grid. Their catalog thumbnails now use the first gallery photo.
- FixedThe 30th Celebration Pokémon Center products were missing their release date. They now show September 15, 2026, verified against Bulbapedia, and appear under "Show upcoming releases" until then.
A rebuilt price card to embed
The embeddable price card now leads with how much a product moved over 30 days, with a bigger image, a full-width price chart, and a dark mode.
- ImprovedThe embeddable card now leads with the 30-day move, shown as a large percentage with the dollar amount beside it, and today's price sits next to it as the reference figure. The price on its own was something anyone could look up; the move is the part worth putting on someone else's page.
- ImprovedThe card also gets a much larger product image, a full-width 30-day price chart with a dashed line marking where the month started, and no more category heading above the product name, which already said the same thing.
- NewPick a card theme when you copy the embed code: light, dark, or auto, which follows each reader's own light or dark mode setting.
- FixedThe markdown badge has been retired. It showed only the bench.cx name and a price with no indication of which product it was about, so it has been dropped in favour of doing one card properly.
Every product's price now refreshes daily
A broken step in the nightly price job left about 340 products on a price that was up to three weeks old. It is fixed, the whole catalog has been repriced, and those products now update every day like the rest.
- FixedAround 340 products were showing a market price that was days or weeks out of date, with product pages reading "Market price as of Jul 21" instead of today. A query in the nightly price job was failing every night, so the step that covers those products never ran. Every affected product has been repriced from TCGplayer.
- ImprovedProducts that our main price feed does not carry are now priced directly from TCGplayer every night instead of rotating through a small daily quota. That was the reason a product could sit on an old price for a week even when everything was working, and it is why "updated daily" now means every product, every day.
Roomier, more readable price lists on desktop
The booster box and ETB price lists get bigger images, taller rows, larger prices, and a wide per-row price chart on desktop.
- ImprovedOn desktop the price lists now read like a market table: larger product images, taller rows, bigger price figures, and the 30-day trend line stretched into a wide chart across each row instead of a small thumbnail. Set names line up in their own column. Mobile is unchanged.
- ImprovedThe trend charts are now drawn as smooth curves instead of straight zig-zag segments, so they read like a real price chart, and the product images are larger and clearer across the lists.
- ImprovedOn the price lists the product image now runs edge to edge, flush to the left of each row and filling its full height, so the box art leads the row instead of floating in a small tile.
Search, right from the top bar
The navigation is rebuilt around search: find any sealed product from anywhere, on a bar that now stays with you as you scroll.
- NewA search box now sits in the middle of the top bar on every page. Start typing any box, ETB, bundle or tin and jump straight to it, or press Enter to see all matches. It is there on mobile too.
- ImprovedThe top bar now sticks to the top of the window as you scroll, so search and navigation are always one glance away.
- ImprovedThe browse links (booster boxes, ETBs, catalog, sets, trending) are tucked into a single tidy Browse menu, and your account options into an account menu, so the bar stays calm while search takes center stage.
- FixedPressing Enter in search without picking a specific result now opens the catalog filtered to everything matching what you typed, instead of jumping to the single top match.
- FixedThe top bar now spans its width evenly instead of leaving empty space on the right, so it reads as centered and aligned with the page.
A clearer navigation bar
The nav now highlights the page you are on, and the mobile menu button is crisper.
- ImprovedThe navigation bar highlights the section you are currently viewing, so it is obvious where you are. The mobile menu button is now a clean icon, and every link and button in the bar shows a clear keyboard focus outline.
See how much each price moved, at a glance
Every price in the list now shows its 30-day move in small green or red text, so you can see direction and size without opening the product.
- NewUnder each price pill in the booster box and ETB lists is a small green or red figure: how much it moved over the last 30 days. On Last price it is the dollar change, on MSRP multiple it is the change in the multiple, and on Percent change it is the dollar amount behind the percent.
Cleaner product pages
Dropped the auto-generated FAQ from product pages in favour of the real price data that belongs there.
- ImprovedProduct pages no longer carry an auto-generated FAQ. It repeated what the price, MSRP and history sections already show, so the page now leads with the real data instead of a templated question list.
Sitemap now tells search engines what actually changed
Each page's sitemap date reflects its real last content change instead of stamping every page with today, so search engines get an honest signal about what's new.
- ImprovedEvery product and set page in the sitemap now carries its true last-updated date. A page we haven't touched keeps its real date instead of claiming it changed today, which is a stronger, more trustworthy freshness signal for search engines.
- ImprovedEditing a page — adding a box-opening video, confirming specs or a release date — now updates that page's date, so search engines are nudged to recrawl the pages that genuinely changed.
Price lists by year, and you can re-sort them
The booster box and ETB price lists now run newest year first, and a sort control re-orders the whole list by price, movement or name.
- ImprovedBoth price lists run newest release first, grouped by year. An era covers several years, so grouping by era never told you which of two boxes was the newer one, which is usually the first thing you want to know.
- NewA sort control at the top of the list: release date, price high to low, price low to high, biggest 30-day gain, biggest 30-day drop, or name. Anything other than release date drops the year headings and gives you one straight ranking. Your choice sticks between visits.
- ImprovedHalf boxes, Enhanced boxes and Pokémon Center Elite Trainer Boxes are no longer mixed into these two lists. They hold different contents or came from one store, so listing them beside a standard box compared two different things. They keep their own product pages and stay in the catalog.
- FixedBoxes we cannot price yet now sit under their own release year instead of being collected in a bucket at the bottom. A box with no current price is still a box from that year, and the year view should show every one of them.
- ImprovedOn a phone the list now runs to both screen edges and the box images are larger, so set names have room to read instead of clipping.
- FixedOn a laptop the navigation bar was cramped enough that labels broke in half: "Booster / Boxes", "Add / product". It now stays on one line at every width, and on narrower screens it folds into the menu button instead.
- ImprovedThe 30-day trend line in each row grows with the window instead of staying matchbook-sized, so on a wide screen you can actually read the shape.
The sales behind the price
Hover the market price on any product page to see the most recent completed TCGplayer sales, and hover the eBay figure for the detail behind it. Nothing new takes up space on the page.
- NewThe market price on a product page now opens a small panel with the last five completed TCGplayer sales: what each one sold for, how long ago, the quantity, and whether shipping was charged on top. A market price is an average; this is the tape it came from.
- NewThe panel also shows the median of those sales, so a single wholesale lot or one overpriced buy-it-now does not read as the market.
- NewThe eBay price on the same line opens its own panel with the sold price, yearly volume and when we last read it. From today we also record that figure daily, so within a few weeks it grows its own trend line in that panel.
- ImprovedBoth panels open on hover, keyboard focus or tap and close on Escape, and they load only when opened, so a page nobody hovers is no slower than before.
A second market price, from eBay
Product pages can now show what a sealed item actually sold for on eBay under its TCGplayer market price, so you can see at a glance when the two markets disagree.
- NewWhere we have it, a product page now carries a second price on one line under the market price: a PriceCharting figure built from completed eBay sales, plus how far it sits above or below TCGplayer. Two numbers that measure different things, named rather than blended.
- NewThat line also shows roughly how many units sold in the last year, which is the closest thing to a liquidity read we have been able to publish. A box that moves 400 times a year and one that moves twice are very different holdings at the same price.
- ImprovedOlder sealed product benefits most. Plenty of vintage boxes and packs have no usable TCGplayer market price but sell regularly on eBay, so for those the eBay figure becomes the headline price on the page.
Booster box and ETB price pages
Two new pages in the nav list every booster box and every Elite Trainer Box we track, grouped by era, with a price you can tap to swap for a different number.
- NewBooster Boxes and ETBs are now their own pages, one row per product, sorted priciest first inside each era. Each row shows the set, what makes that product different from its siblings, the release month and the current market price.
- NewTap any price to switch what the whole list shows: last price, MSRP multiple, or 30-day percent change. Your choice sticks between visits and follows you to the other page.
- NewEvery row carries a 30-day sparkline and a price tinted green or red by the month's movement, so a column of prices doubles as a heat map.
- ImprovedProducts no source can price are collected at the bottom under a plain 'No current market price' heading, instead of leaving whole eras looking like a wall of dashes.
- ImprovedThe pages open straight on prices. Everything is one continuous list, and the era you are scrolling through stays labelled in a slim bar at the top of the screen instead of breaking the page into separate blocks.
Corrected booster box MSRP
- FixedBooster box MSRP now reads $161.64 for current-gen sets (it was showing an outdated $143.64), with half boxes at $80.82 and box cases at $969.84. Verified against Pokémon Center pricing.
Catalog remembers your place
- FixedPaging through the catalog and opening a product, then hitting the browser Back button, now returns you to the exact page and filters you were on instead of jumping back to the start. The catalog view is also now a shareable link that reflects your current page and filters.
Fresher prices on new releases
- FixedAbout 250 products that relied on a slower pricing source had gone stale (some new-release packs were a week behind a fast-moving market). All are refreshed, and newly released products now get priority in the daily price sync so they stay current.
- ImprovedIf a product's price ever does lag more than two days, its page now says the exact date it was last updated instead of claiming it refreshes daily.
The Sealed Market Index
- NewOne number for the whole sealed Pokémon market: the Sealed Market Index tracks daily price moves across ~1,900 sealed products (base 100, December 2025), with 30-day movers, MSRP stats and a full methodology. Free to cite with attribution — find it at /sealed-market-index.
MSRP vs market price
- NewCurrent-generation product pages now show the original MSRP (retail price) alongside the market price, plus how far it has moved from retail — trading above MSRP as a multiple, or below MSRP as a deal signal. Covers Scarlet & Violet and Mega Evolution booster boxes, ETBs, bundles, packs, Build & Battle boxes, and cases.
New products on the home page
- ImprovedThe home page now spotlights the newest sealed releases (one per set, freshest first) so you can jump straight into what just dropped. There are also new pages explaining the free portfolio tracker and price alerts.
Smarter catalog search
- ImprovedCatalog search now understands abbreviations and word order: "UPC" finds Ultra-Premium Collections, "ETB" finds Elite Trainer Boxes, and typing "pokemon chaos rising" (or accents like célébration) finds the right set instead of nothing.
Clearer price trend on every product
- ImprovedThe price section now shows a mini trend chart with tap-to-switch ranges (and the dollar move, not just the percent), plus how far the product sits from its all-time high. On newer products it only shows the time ranges we actually have data for, instead of repeating the same number under 3M, YTD and 1Y.
- ImprovedThe price-drop alert now knows today's price: it reads "Alert me if it drops below $41.33" and pre-fills that number, so setting one is a single tap (you can still choose your own target).
Rate products and opening videos
- NewEvery product page now has a community rating: tap to give it 1–5 stars (no account needed) and optionally leave a quick note. You can also thumbs-up or thumbs-down the box-opening video. Ratings show right away, and once a product has enough of them the average can appear as stars in Google search results.
Browse every set, grouped by era
- ImprovedThe Sets page now groups every set under its era, from the newest Mega Evolution sets back to the original Wizards of the Coast era, with a jump bar to hop straight to any era. The separate Eras page is gone; it lived here all along.
Fresher prices on the newest sets
- FixedSome of the newest sets (the latest Mega Evolution sub-sets) were holding an old price because our daily refresh got stuck cycling through vintage products that have no live market. The refresh now prioritizes new releases and actively-traded products, so newer sealed keeps a current price.
See where your market prices come from
- ImprovedEvery market price in your portfolio now shows a small TCGplayer mark next to it, so you can see the source at a glance. Where we have the exact product, the mark links straight to its TCGplayer page.
More accurate sealed-case prices
- FixedBooster Box Cases and Elite Trainer Box Cases now always show their true value as a multiple of the single box or ETB (a case is 6 boxes or 10 ETBs), instead of occasionally showing the thin, mis-priced market quote these slow-moving cases get listed at. The correct case price now holds even on days the price feed hiccups.
Price alerts up front, tap-to-play video on mobile
- ImprovedPrice-drop alerts are now front and center on every product page: set one right from the top with just your email (no account) and we'll tell you the moment it drops below your price.
- NewOn a phone, tap the product image to play its box-opening video right there — no scrolling, and the image stays put until you tap.
Box contents, verified from Bulbapedia
- NewConfiguration is now verified from Bulbapedia for booster boxes, bundles and Elite Trainer Boxes across the modern sets — so you can see exactly what's in a box (e.g. an ETB's pack count and contents, which vary by set), with a source. Weight and dimensions stay typical estimates you can help confirm.
Verified specs, and a subtler badge
- NewProduct specifications (configuration, weight, dimensions) now use the same verify-and-correct system as release dates. Where they're just typical-for-the-type estimates, there's a "Suggest exact specs" prompt — submit real numbers with a source and we'll review them.
- ImprovedThe "verified" badge is now a small check icon with a hover explanation instead of a chunky label, so confirmed facts are marked without shouting.
Verified release dates — and you can help
Every product now shows its exact release date, with a badge where it's confirmed and a way to fix it where it isn't.
- NewProducts and sets now show the exact release date (e.g. "Released May 22, 2026") with a Verified badge where we've confirmed it against a trusted source. 209 sets are verified, cross-checked against Bulbapedia and official announcements.
- NewWhere a date isn't confirmed, there's a "Suggest a date" flag — anyone, signed in or not, can submit the correct date with a source link, Wikipedia-style. We review submissions before they go live. This is the first step of a bigger community-corrections idea.
Browse by era, redesigned
The Eras page (formerly “Sealed”) got a proper redesign, and Mega Evolution is now its own era.
- ImprovedRenamed the confusing “Sealed” tab to “Eras” and rebuilt the page: each era shows its year range and its set and product counts, so you can see the shape of every generation at a glance.
- FixedMega Evolution is now its own era (2025 onward) instead of being lumped in with Scarlet & Violet, and a big bucket of miscellaneous products no longer clutters the Scarlet & Violet era. Newly released Mega Evolution sets like Pitch Black now land in the right era immediately.
See it on TCGplayer
Every product now links straight to its TCGplayer listing.
- NewEach product page now shows a View on TCGplayer link next to the market price, so you can jump to the live listing our price is based on. The price is also published as structured data for richer search results.
One clear address for every product
Products now live at a single, breadcrumb-style URL like /sealed/scarlet-violet/me04-chaos-rising/chaos-rising-booster-box.
- ImprovedEvery product now has one canonical page under its era and set, so search engines see a single clean address instead of two. Old product links redirect to the new one automatically, so nothing you have saved or shared will break.
FAQs on every product page
Quick answers to the two questions people ask most about a box.
- ImprovedEvery product page now has a short FAQ answering what the product currently costs and whether it's a good investment, with its price history and all-time high/low to back it up. These also help the pages show up as rich results in search.
Browse sealed by era, set and product type
A new way in: pick an era, drill into a set, land on any box, bundle or ETB.
- NewThere is now a full Sealed section that organizes every sealed product by era (Scarlet & Violet back to the original Wizards of the Coast sets), then by set, then by product type. Each product page has a price snapshot with 7, 30 and 90-day movement, all-time high and low, a price-history chart, related products in the same set, and a one-tap price-drop alert. Start from Browse sealed by era on the home page.
Browse by series
New landing pages for each era, like Sword & Shield and Sun & Moon.
- NewEvery Pokémon TCG series now has its own page (Sword & Shield, Sun & Moon, Scarlet & Violet, and more), listing all the sets in that era with product counts and tracked value. Jump in from any set or product, or from the series headings on the Sets page.
Trending: gainers, losers & time windows
Biggest movers up and down, from 7 days to 6 months.
- ImprovedTrending now shows the biggest gainers AND the biggest losers, and you can switch the window: 7 days, 14 days, 30 days (default), 3 months, or 6 months. A 12-month view will appear as more price history accumulates.
Browse by set
A new Sets page listing every Pokémon set, grouped by series.
- NewNew Sets page: browse every Pokémon set we track, grouped by series, with set logos and product counts. Jump straight into any set's sealed products, prices, and history.
Richer set & product pages
Set logos, series, set size, and real product descriptions.
- ImprovedSet pages now lead with the set logo, series, card count, and release date. Product pages now include a real product description and show which set and series each item belongs to. The canonical reference for sealed Pokémon, getting deeper.
A bigger, sharper catalog
Hundreds more sealed products and much cleaner categories.
- NewAdded 400+ sealed products, including vintage and WOTC-era booster boxes, theme decks and more, now with real product descriptions, set and expansion details, and release dates.
- ImprovedSharper categories: booster packs, theme decks, battle decks, build & battle boxes and prerelease kits are now their own filters, and far fewer products land in 'Other'.
More accurate case prices
Booster box and ETB case prices now track their contents.
- FixedBooster Box Case and Elite Trainer Box Case prices were unreliable, because the market data source mis-prices slow-moving cases. They now derive from the per-unit price: 6 booster boxes or 10 ETBs per case. So a case is priced like what's inside it, and it updates daily.
Embeddable price widgets
Put a live sealed price on any site, blog, or README.
- NewEmbed a live, auto-updating price for any product. Grab a price card or a markdown badge from the product page (under 'Embed this price') or from the new /embed page. Free, no account, links back to bench.cx.
Trending is now public
Browse the biggest sealed movers without an account.
- ImprovedThe Trending page, the biggest 30-day gainers across sealed product, is now open to everyone, no sign-in needed. Tracking a mover still takes a free account.
- ImprovedCleaner link previews and richer search results across the catalog, set, and product pages so bench.cx looks right when shared and ranks better.
Instant catalog
Search, filter, and sort with zero lag.
- ImprovedThe catalog now filters, sorts, and paginates instantly. Searching and changing filters is immediate, with no loading between every change.
Reimagined landing page
Search the market and jump straight into any product, no account.
